All car rental insurances with NO excess value!
Our car rental rates are inclusive of all required car rental vehicle insurances like 3rd party responsibility, CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), TW (Theft Waiver) and Bail Bond (where applicable) at Granada and have no car rental insurance excess, this means that there is no credit card deposit on arrival at Granada against damage to the car rental vehicle's bodywork and in the event of bodywork damage to the car rental vehicle (like dented panels not : tyres glass wheels etc see below) there is no renter responsibility.

Additional drivers
Included in our car rental rates for Granada is one free extra driver on every car rental. At Granada, the normal minimum driver age applied by car rental companies is 21 of age, with a minimum of two years driving licence experience. If any would-be driver is aged under 21 (or is aged over 70) at the start of the car rental at Granada, please confirm via e-mail with your car rental reservations agent.
Fuel is not included at Granada!
The fuel that you consume during your car rental is obviously not included in our our published car rental rates! On arrival at Granada, you will be asked to prepay a full tank of fuel. At the end of the hire, simply return the car rental vehicle back to the car rental station at Granada as empty as possible.On short hires (3 days or less), we may be able to arrange "full/full" fuelling for your car rental at Granada against a credit card deposit. Please ask your reservations agent for further details.
Lost car rental vehicle keys.
Vehicle keys are chip-coded and are costly and timely items to replace. If you lose the car rental vehicle's key, you will be obliged to pay for its replacement (approximately EUR 120.00) plus any associated transport costs in connecting you with a new vehicle key. More importantly, your holiday car rental at Granada may be seriously affected while you wait for a new key to be prepared for your car rental vehicle. Please take good care of the car rental vehicle key while you're on holiday in Spain!
Using the wrong fuel type for your car rental vehicle.
Putting gasoline into a diesel car (or vice versa) requires the engine to be stripped down and cleaned. If you put the wrong fuel into the car rental vehicle at Granada, expect a hefty garage bill and several days with your car "off-the-road" while the car is repaired.
Blow-outs are at your own risk
If you have a puncture during the rental the car hire company will hold you responsible for the repair/replacement cost. All our cars are delivered with a road-worthy set of tyres which are inspected prior to each delivery. Typically, bad parking or driving off-road are the most common causes of punctures during a rental period.
Off-road or negligent use.
Our car rental vehicles at Granada are rented for use on the public highways of Spain. They cannot be used off-road. Although a very rare ocurrance, we'd like you to be aware that damage to the underside of the car rental vehicle, frequently caused by negligent driving or off-road use at Granada (we have had occasion to have to lift car rental vehicles out of dried-up river beds!) is your responsibility. Drunk driving a hire car is considered negligent use.
Traffic fines.
Traffic fines, speeding tickets incurred at the wheel of your car rental vehicle at Granada are at your own risk.
Vehicle glass & locks.
It is a sad reality that in most holiday resorts in Spain, auto-theft is a day-to-day ocurrance. If you park up the car rental vehicle with personal items inside and, as a consequence, the glass or locks are damaged in an attempt to steal your personal effects, you will be responsible for the associated repair costs to the car rental vehicle. We strongly recommend that you park the vehicle in supervised car parks/garages in the major cities and never leave any personal item inside the car rental vehicle.
Damage to the vehicle's underside.
Damage to the vehicle's underside is the responsibility of the renter. Although a very rare ocurrance, damage caused by driving off-road, impacts from rocks or other items to the underside can cause considerable damage to the vehicle. If this situation arises, you will be responsible for the repair costs.
Baby
Baby seats are suitable for young children from approximately 6 months of age until 2-3 years of age. Seats are supplied for car rental vehicles from Granada on request. There is a charge of EUR 2.50 per day for these seats which is payable on arrival at Granada. You must reserve infant seats at the same time as you reserve your car rental.
Booster Seats
Booster seats are suitable for young children from approximately 2 years until 5 years of age. Booster seats are supplied for car rental vehicles from Granada on request. There is a charge of EUR 2.50 per day for these seats which is payable on arrival at Granada. You must reserve infant seats at the same time as you reserve your car rental.
Roof Racks
Roof racks are available for some car rental vehicles at Granada. Roof racks are supplied free of charge, with the straps to tie your baggage on. Before ordering a roof rack, consider renting a slightly larger vehicle with more boot space .. it's a lot less stressful than lifting your cases on to the roof! If you require a roof rack, please ensure it is included in your car rental Quote request/booking from the outset.
